Dr. Matt Lane

Dr. Matt Lane grew up here in Murfreesboro and graduated from Oakland High School in 2001. After high school, knowing he wanted a career in veterinary medicine, he enrolled at the University of Tennessee. He received an animal science degree from UT in 2005 and went on to receive his degree in veterinary medicine, also from UT, in 2009. In 2016 he took on an additional job and joined the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps Reserve. His personal interest in fitness and nutrition translate into his professional life as he has a special interest in working, hunting dogs and educating people about pet health. Dr. Lane is first and foremost a family man, and when he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife Lauren and being a Dad to their son, Baird. He is also a pet parent to 3 sweet dogs named Angus, Darla & Layla.
